bunnybooI do so love me some melodrama and boy did I get it.
Mason's speech at the wedding! Bertha Mason's rending of Jane's veil! The reveal of who savagely attacked Mason that night! Bertha Mason's madness! It's all so wonderfully dramatic and gothic.
A lesser book would've finished earlier (maybe around the halfway mark), but I'm only about 2/3 of the way through. This is great!
